This is a EPCC (design / build) project consists of around 4KM GRP sewer trunk line serving Za’afaranyah Area with 180 cu.m/hr pumping station. The trunk line diameter varied from 800mm to 1,500mm dia with 650 mm of 600mm UPVC main force to avoid the not organized underground utilities in the area. The depth of the trunk line was down to 8.5m U.G.L working in a loose soil area. Which required very special attention to avoid the collapses by providing the engineering solutions made by our engineers.
MEE has designed, managed, constructed, tested & commissioned the project and turned over to the owner (Baghdad municipality) successfully during the very hard and bad security situation in Iraq on 2007. the evaluation rating on MEE services was outstanding as per the evaluation sheet below. Such rate is not normally issued to contractors performing projects under such circumstances in Iraq.
